With the laser, extremely precise cuts of different geometries can be achieved, which is why, in principle, it offers many types of solutions when forming complex parts. In addition, due to its innovative technology, results are obtained more quickly.
Punching is the other technique we use to cut metal. Holes in the sheet metal are used to make the required shape. Although it has less precision in the forms and some limitations with respect to the laser, it is indispensable when it comes to deep drawing, thread reinforcement or screw housings. In addition, its production cost is lower.
