The bending process is mainly used to obtain more demanding pieces with certain shapes. In this technique, a single piece, already manufactured, is used as a starting point and the necessary pressure is applied to give it a certain angle.
There are three types of folding. The deep bending, one of the most used, has great precision although the elastic return of the metal must be taken into account. The partial bending, is in charge of compensating the elastic return. And the coining or stamping, which has great precision and eliminates the elastic return, as a disadvantage you need a machine 8 times larger than the rest.
The machine we usually use is the folding machine, which, unlike the hydraulic press, works in only one dimension (in a linear fashion). Our folding machines offer a wide variety of sizes and shapes so that we can solve any design without any problem.
